Who is responsible
Chaim Apsan operates Kabbalah Empowerment and the Ultimate Kabbalah Meditation Course (UKMC). Our contact address is HaTzvi 15, Jerusalem 9438622, Israel. For privacy requests, email info@kabbalahempowerment.com.
Information you provide
A book request uses your name, email address, selected book and language to deliver the requested PDF. Requesting a book does not subscribe you to a newsletter. A newsletter subscription, when offered, has a separate choice and confirmation process.
Contact forms that open your email application prepare a draft on your device. We receive that message only when you choose to send it. Correspondence may include your name, email address and any information you put in the message. Please do not send payment-card details, passwords or sensitive medical information.
Student records may include your name, email address, course entitlement, access tier, progress, completed classes and playback position. Purchase and support records may include an order reference, the product or service and payment status. Payment providers handle their own payment details; our new site does not collect card numbers.
Why we use information
We use information to answer enquiries, fulfil requested downloads, provide course access, remember progress, handle purchases and support, maintain records and protect the service from misuse. Depending on the activity and applicable law, this processing supports a requested service or contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site, a legal obligation, or your consent.
Marketing email is separate from essential service messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing through the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. An unsubscribe does not prevent necessary messages about an existing purchase, account or request.
Technical information and cookies
Cloudflare, AWS and other infrastructure providers process request information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested files, timestamps and security events to deliver and protect the website. Our email-request limits store short-lived hashes and counters rather than raw IP addresses or email addresses.
The student area uses a secure sign-in cookie for up to seven days and a form-protection cookie for up to one day. Sandbox checkout, if enabled for a test, uses a protected browser cookie for up to two hours. The cart is stored in your browser until you clear it or change it. These features are used for the service you request.
The new public site does not load advertising or general visitor-analytics tags. Embedded video or maps load only when you choose to load them; the provider then receives your request and may use its own cookies. Older student or checkout pages retained during the transition use their existing login, cart and security technologies.
Providers and sharing
We use Cloudflare for hosting, DNS, security and student data storage; AWS for retained media and course files; Sender for requested email delivery and, when separately enabled, mailing lists; and Google Workspace for correspondence. GitHub and Keystatic support website editing. PayPal handles payments when a PayPal payment method is offered.
We share the information needed for these services, support and lawful record-keeping. We do not sell personal information. Provider systems may process information outside Israel or your home country, under their own terms and applicable data-transfer arrangements. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your request.
Email services may record delivery, bounce and, where tracking is enabled, open or link-interaction events. External media providers such as YouTube, Vimeo or Google Maps apply their own privacy notices when you load their content.
How long information is kept
Account and progress records are kept while needed to provide your course access and resolve related support matters. Order and correspondence records are kept as needed for fulfilment, accounting, legal obligations and resolving disputes. We assess deletion against the purpose of the record and any applicable retention requirement.
Access invites expire after use or 48 hours; sign-in sessions expire after seven days. Expired credentials no longer authorize access. Temporary request counters and send-attempt hashes have short expiry windows and are removed during service housekeeping. Infrastructure providers apply their own log-retention settings.
Your choices and requests
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Email info@kabbalahempowerment.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on an account request.
Deleting information needed for course authentication or progress may affect those features. We may retain records where required by law or needed to establish or defend a claim. You can also complain to the data-protection authority with jurisdiction over your situation.
Children and changes
The paid course and account features are intended for adults. A parent or guardian should contact us before arranging access for a minor; we do not knowingly invite children to join a marketing list.
This notice may change as the service changes. The date on this page identifies the current version. Material changes affecting existing accounts will be communicated where required.
