There are four main Kabbalistic principles that you should know

There’s a lot of misunderstanding when it comes to Kabbalah. Many people have distorted it, watered it, and mixed it with self-help to make money. To be fair, not everything is wrong and so I give an introduction to Kabbalah in this little video entitled 4 Kabbalistic Principles that govern the world, whether people believe it or not.

These are very simple lessons that I believe are crucial to living a better life. There are other Kabbalistic principles which we will discuss along the articles, but this should be a great start.

It pays to watch, as it can save you a lot of suffering, and who wouldn’t want that?

And so, without further ado, here’s the video:

The transcript about the Kabbalistic principles, which is not verbatim, follows here:

The first Kabbalistic principle is that every action below (It’aruta D’ltata) generates a response above (It’aruta D’leilah), everything we do here has tremendous significance in the spiritual worlds that we know (Atzilut, Beriyah, Yetzirah, Assiyah). In other words, everything is bound to come back one way or another. It can take a few months, a few years, but everything we do has a response. Some people call it Karma, but it really is called Middah Keneged Middah, which is a measure for a measure. The way we deal in life with others and for ourselves is the way that Hashem deals with us.

The second principle is that the highest form of consciousness is true happiness and compassion. This is the Sephirah of Keter, and this Sephirah is rooted in true happiness and unity and has compassion for all creatures of the world. This is something that is generally above us, because Rav Chaim Vital writes in Sha’arei Kedusha that, were a person to be judged according to his merits, the world would not endure.

But that is something that everyone can emulate (as we find in the book by the Ramchal, Tomer Dvorah).

Now, true happiness is not silly jokes and just laughing at anything. It also does not depend on anything. It is just being present in the moment of being happy with your higher purpose. Compassion is just the giving of whatever the other person needs, without taking into consideration whether he or she deserved it or not. And this is the way you Hashem deals with us.

And it’s the highest level of consciousness that we can attain.

The third principle is that lessons are repeated until we learn them. This might sound a bit harsh, I know, but this is what we’re here for. We’re here to learn and do our job, in other words, the rectifications (Tikkunim) we’re meant to do. And we’re not free to get out and leave the game. We’re here to do it so that we receive the ultimate reward. And Hashem wants us to receive that. The Ramchal writes that one of the reasons why we exert effort is that we should not be ashamed of receiving the rewards, without any merit. So Hashem gives us the Avodah, the service we must do.

The fourth principle is that our work is unique. And we all possess a unique system of four spiritual words with all the spirit. Each and every person is absolutely unique. If we have that in mind, we realize that there’s no reason for us to be jealous of anyone else because Hashem created the entire word for each and every one of us so we should deserve the ultimate reward. To merit the Olam Habah that we spoke before, and nobody can take the other person’s spiritual service.

So, we all have something to be incredibly happy about, which is the fact that Hashem chose us for our job. Each and every one of us is here on Earth, and we should all rejoice and be happy with this.

I hope you have a great today.
